RULES AS OF 2011

1.  Any snowmobile regardless of model year manufactured as leaf sprung front suspension.
2.  Engine must be of sled manufacture and
NOT to exceed 500 c.c. displacement.
3.  Engine must be of design and configuration offered in leaf sprung chassis.
4.  Must be consumer available non-race specific model.  (No limited production race sleds
allowed)
5.  Stock exhaust only.  No aftermarket pipes allowed. Exhaust must be correct for engine
application.
6.  Updated primary and secondary clutching is allowed.
7.  NO flat slide carbs allowed.
8.  Stock type steel skis only.  Plastic ski skins are allowed.  No special racing skis allowed.
(Anderson or other aftermarket brand)
9.  Ski spreaders are allowed.  3" max. per ski, 36" max. center to center distance.
10.Ski carbide length is unlimited.
11.Stock rear suspension is recommended.  Replacement of rear suspension is legal, but
must have 6" travel or less.  
NO SUSPENSION DEEMED AS LONG TRAVEL WILL BE ALLOWED.
12.Any track is legal (rubber or cleated) as long as it does not exceed 1" in lug height.  121"
length or less.
13.Only "trail" type traction products are allowed.  (push through, t-nut, Cat Klaw type) NO
RACING TYPE STEEL, CHISEL POINT, OR CARBIDE SHARPENED ICE PICKS ALLOWED.  STUDS
MAY BE SHARPENED OR SHORTENED AS LONG AS POINT IS 60- 90 DEGREES.
Example of a
legal "NEW" stud would be Stud Boy "power point" or Woody's "gold digger"  Stud Nazis will
perform random stud checks and enforce a 5 stud pull for multiple feature winners.
14.Studs are to be placed in the center band of the track, located between the inside edges
of the slide rails.  Cleated tracks may have studs placed in cleats, but between inside edges
of slide rails.  Bogie suspension may have studs in center 8" of track.
15.Maximum of 96 studs allowed.  Studs may NOT extend beyond the lug or cleat by more
than 1/2".
16.Tail light must be operational.
17.Must have working tether.
18.Must have current DNR registration with decal displayed.
19.Personal safety equipment is required.  (DOT or Snell approved helmet, Tek Vest or
Safe-Jac, knee pads, shin gaurds, elbow pads)
20. Participants with erectile dysfunction may run Viagra, Levitra, Vicerex, Enzyte, etc.
21. Absolutely NO left hand throttle allowed.
22. Anyone participating in a piston burner with a couch is obligated to be a tow sled.
